THE RIVIERA OF GARDONE: FROM THE BELLE EPOQUE TO THE ITALIAN SOCIAL REPUBLIC

L.A.C.U.S. proposes a series of cultural appointments to visit the Gardone Riviera, the city’s garden.
Each visit, which lasts about three hours, taking in Gardone Sopra and Gardone Sotto, in a mysterious and engaging itinerary, narrates the events from the start of the tourism at Garda to the creation of Republic of Salò, with its splendid villas, “palazzi”, gardens and grand hotels.
The meeting point with the guide is at Wimmer Square (piazzetta). The tour costs €8 per person and takes place with a minimum of 15 participants.
